Most Meaningful Activity
Coffee House.
Coffee House is one of my favorite Upper School activities because it’s an opportunity for students to display their musical and artistic talents. It’s cool because it’s very intimate and laid back, and it’s all about supporting your friends and discovering something new about people you may not know as well.

Reflections on Learning
One of my art pieces for Credo was a self-choreographed dance to Alessia Cara's song “Stay.” I was supposed to do my performance in Johnson Theater, but we weren’t able to secure the space, so we played music on the classroom speakers, and everyone made a big circle around me so that I could dance in the center. I was so happy that everything happened the way it did because it made the whole experience more personal.

Inspirational Teacher Coach
Mr. Watson is so inspirational and passionate about what he does. He has trained me to be diligent and to take my work seriously. Without Mr. Watson, I would be neither the dancer nor the person that I am today.

Looking Back
I loved doing community service in the middle school on Wednesday afternoons. I think it shaped me and my peers to be active in the community and constantly look for ways to give back.

Looking Ahead
Due to Norfolk Academy’s academic rigor, I believe that it has prepared me to deal with the workload that I will face in college. I also believe that NA has taught me to develop honest relationships with my teachers and to seek help when necessary.
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…my love for the teachers and the relationships I’ve built within the NA community.
