Reflections on Learning
My best classroom memory was in Western Civilization when Dr. Naujoks dressed up as Napoleon, her favorite historical figure. That day epitomized the enthusiasm the Norfolk Academy faculty have for their students and the courses they teach.

Inspirational Teacher Coach
Dr. Rezelman introduced me to the world of international relations. He afforded me multiple opportunities to meet with many professionals and attend various events related to international relations. Without his assistance and guidance, I would never know about the world of foreign affairs, an area I intend to study in college.

The Academy Difference
Norfolk Academy’s biggest impact on me was the opportunity to travel abroad. I was fortunate to travel to China, France, Haiti, and Belize, which would not have been possible without the connections formed by the school. I was able to explore new cultures and countries that were very different from my own. My many experiences have truly shaped me as a person and pointed my interests internationally for my future profession.

Making My Mark
One way I left an impact was through the creation of the Student Ambassador Program. Designed to allow current students to assist prospective families through tours and special admission events, this program allowed me the opportunity to give back to a community that has meant so much to me as a person, to share my experience with others, and improve Norfolk Academy for future generations.

The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…compassion.
