Most Meaningful Activity Senior Class Trip to Washington, D.C.
The bus ride up to D.C. with all my classmates was a time to bond and have a good time. We got to visit the Holocaust Museum, which I found extremely interesting and a place everyone should visit.
Looking Back As a new ninth grader, I was at first intimidated by the larger student body and the school’s academic reputation. I remember struggling with Biology, but Mrs. Glassman was always there to help and give support. I realized that the teachers at Norfolk Academy are there to help even outside of the classroom and that I should seek them out.
Looking Ahead I’m going to major in linguistics and hopefully minor in German in college. I’ve always loved learning languages and about new cultures, so linguistics was a clear choice for me. However, taking French, German, and Italian at Norfolk Academy really showed me how much I loved learning languages.
Making My Mark I hope to have brought a worldly, and maybe new perspective to Norfolk Academy. Due to my multicultural upbringing, I believe I view the world in a different way than my peers. I think learning new viewpoints is crucial, and I hope I have done just that for NA.
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…my perseverance in all fields of life.
