Most Meaningful Activity
Special Olympics Club.
Helping someone else improve in sports and enjoy time with their teammates helps me appreciate my own sports and school opportunities! Working with the Special Olympics Club helped me see first-hand how I can make a positive impact on others.

Inspirational Teacher Coach
Mrs. Mann’s math class was both humbling and stimulating; she showed me that if you devote yourself to a topic or class you can really master the skills you need to excel.

The Academy Difference
From Girl/Boy of the Day to the Lower School Resource Program to second grade research papers, we have learned how to find books and resources, how to make note cards, how to write a rough draft, and how to painstakingly edit our papers. Our school has a daily and curriculum-wide emphasis on writing and public speaking; skills which take years to develop, hone, and perfect.

Making My Mark
I found a true passion in distance running, and dedicated 18 seasons to the school’s running teams. This personal journey that began on the JV team in seventh grade culminated in signing my National Letter of Intent with the College of William & Mary. Through daily dedication and sacrifice, I have enjoyed performance successes and personal growth. I’ve done my best to help our school win as many titles as I can, and I have most enjoyed using my training to do my part on our relay teams.

The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…the integrity and good character that the honor code instilled in me.
