How long have you been at Norfolk Academy?
This is my 4th year at Norfolk Academy.

Tell us why you wanted to become an educator:
It’s an opportunity to improve kids’ lives and keep them healthy.

What most excites you about working at Norfolk Academy?
The opportunity to make a difference in kids’ lives on a daily basis and the special opportunities outside of strict educational settings to connect with students

Norfolk Academy is unique because…
...it provides the best opportunity for students to prepare for further education and provides special and unique opportunities to grow as individuals (Leadership Lab and ninth grade speeches for example).

What do you like to do in your own time/when you’re not working?
I enjoy playing sports, specifically soccer and golf; spending time with my wife and 6-month old kid; and playing video games, traveling, and reading.

Last book read:
Corduroy by Don Freeman (read to my son)
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Favorite food?
Steak and Baked Potato

A movie is being made about your life. Whom would they cast to play you?
They would need a set of twins, so no clue!

Fun fact your students might not know about you/might find surprising:
I have an identical twin who lives in Charlotte, NC.

“When I grow up, I want to be…”
...some form of professional athlete; I think at this point that leaves me with golf and curling as options!
