How long have you been at Norfolk Academy?
I have been at Norfolk Academy for 28 years.

Tell us why you wanted to become an educator:
First and foremost, I became an educator because of the example my mother set as a math teacher in Virginia Beach. She was committed, organized, tough, and loved by her students. Secondly, my high school calculus teacher, Carrie Knack, revealed to me not only the beauty of math, but also the interconnectedness of the discipline.
