Welcome back to the Bulldog family Norfolk Academy's new Drama Teacher and Play Director, Jason Kypros '96! Mr. Kypros has worked professionally both on and off the stage and screen. He began performing stand-up comedy in Los Angeles, where he also graduated from the Groundlings School of Improv. The former Spokesperson for the Virginia Lottery, he also has hosted WHRO-TV's Curate and continues to work closely with many of the arts organizations in Hampton Roads.

Why did you want to become a teacher?
I have always had a love for teaching. It provides me a with a unique opportunity to connect with others in a very meaningful way while also learning about myself. 

What excites you about Norfolk Academy?
The people I get to work with.

What's one fun fact about you students might find interesting?
I participated in the Red Bull Flugtag when it was in Washington D.C.
