Time sure flies when you're having fun.
Thursday was the 100th academic day of Norfolk Academy's 2019-20 school calendar. To celebrate, first graders started their morning with math lessons incorporating that big number. Among their assignments: Counting how many times they could write the alphabet in 100 seconds; determining whether they'd ever grow to be 100 inches tall; and figuring out if they were 100 months old.
Students also did fitness activities. They completed as many jumping jacks as they could in 100 seconds - some did better than one per second!
Last but not least, the first graders paraded around the Lower School, where students in older grades cheered them on.
