Three Norfolk Academy alumni are running for elected office in Virginia this year.
Glenn Youngkin '85 is running for the Republican nomination for governor of Virginia. Mr. Youngkin is a past trustee of NA who spent a career in private equity and recently founded Virginia Ready Initiative to provide skills training for those who lost their jobs due to COVID-19. Ramin Fatehi '96 is running for the Democratic nomination for Norfolk Commonwealth's Attorney. Mr. Fatehi has served as a prosecutor for 15 years, the last eight in the city CA office.
