Three dozen Norfolk Academy students received honors recently for their performances on the 2020 National Spanish Examinations.
Administered annually by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, the exams are online, standardized assessment tools for students in grades 6 through 12 who are studying Spanish as a second language. This year, almost 82,000 students took the exam.
Results are typically released in the spring but were delayed this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
