100

February 14 was not only Valentine's Day, it was the 100th day of Norfolk Academy's school year!

While many throughout the school wore pink and red, Lower School students celebrated hitting the 100 mark in a variety of ways. The big event is a first grade parade around the school at 9:55 AM - the 100th minute of the school day.

However, festivities did not end there. First graders had made bags filled with 100 items of their choice; animal treats, toys, and snacks among them. They toured each classroom to get a taste of their classmates' collections.

After that, the morning was filled with lessons centered around the number 100. How many times can you write the alphabet in 100 seconds? How high can you count in 100 seconds? How many jumping jacks and pushups can you do in 100 seconds?

Want to join in the fun? Give some of those exercises a try!
