2025

Seniors have gained wisdom on their journeys through their years at Norfolk Academy. On May 9, the last school day for the Class of 2025, which was also College T-shirt Day, they stood individually in Chapel to share gratitude and shout-outs to their teachers and advice for sophomore and juniors.

A sampling:

“Be kind."

“Give 100% of yourself."

“Don't be afraid to be a leader," and “Don't be afraid to fail."

“Say 'yes' as much as you can."

In his Chapel reflection, Head of School Travis Larrabee returned to “Understanding," the school year's theme, viewing it not only as something we gain, but as something we give.

“Each one of us carries within us a kind of fingerprint—not only the literal kind, but a spiritual one, too. We leave that print on every life we touch." He encouraged seniors to consider their legacy: “Step forward. With vision, with courage, with conviction. But also: leave something behind. Let it be something that reflects the light within you."
