People across the country were shaken by the devastation wrought by tornadoes that swept through Kentucky, Arkansas, Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee in mid-December 2021. Norfolk Academy responded to this disaster with a call to action, mounting a fundraiser across all three divisions in the days before Holiday Break to help provide relief to families and communities impacted.

“We can think of no better way to wrap up the first half of our Year of Togetherness than by reaching out as one united school community to provide this support," Headmaster Dennis Manning and division directors Linda Gorsline, Jeff Boyd, and Michelle Alexander said in their joint letter to the Academy community.

On Friday, December 17, representatives from the American Red Cross came to campus to thank the Academy community. The final total: $8,817.48.

Thank you to all who gave to this important cause! That's the power of Togetherness!
