Ramin Fatehi '96 won election on Tuesday, November 3, as the next Norfolk Commonwealth's Attorney. Mr. Fatehi has served as a prosecutor for 15 years, the last eight in the Norfolk Commonwealth's Attorney office. He will assume his new position in January.
After Mr. Fatehi graduated from Norfolk Academy, where he was a varsity wrestler, he earned his bachelor's degree in history at Yale and a law degree at Columbia Law School. After law school, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Elizabeth B. Lacy, the first woman appointed to the Supreme Court of Virginia, then worked in corporate law before becoming a public defender.
