Congratulations to percussionist Mitchell Moore '23, who earned a spot on the 2022 District Band!
Mitchell qualified through a competitive audition that included musicians from Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The band performed a concert on February 5 at the Thalia Lynn Baptist Church in Virginia Beach.
Mitchell is playing in the pit orchestra for this year’s Winter Musical production of Disney's The Little Mermaid, which debuts February 16. He has been studying percussion for 12 years and also earned district band honors in 2020.
