Tell us why you wanted to become an educator:
I love working with children and their families. It is incredibly rewarding to support students in their academic and social development and to watch them find personal success in the school setting and beyond.
What most excites you about working at Norfolk Academy?
The people! I am thrilled to get to know all the students and their families. As a Norfolk Academy alumnae, it has been exciting to return to a place and group of people that had such a meaningful impact on my educational career and overall sense of self.
Norfolk Academy is unique because…
of the sense of community and the attention given to fostering the development of the whole child.

What do you like to do in your own time/when you’re not working?
I love to spend time with friends and family. If it is nice outside, you can most often find me at the beach with a good book. I am attempting to learn to golf, which is a continuous lesson in humility. I also love to cook and bake.
I love all types of seafood! I am also a dessert lover; my current favorite is any sort of fruit pie.
A movie is being made about your life. Who would they cast to play you?
Fun fact your students might find surprising:
I recently took up kickboxing!
