Norfolk Academy honored service members and veterans at the school's annual Military Appreciation Night.

Held on October 24, students in the Military Appreciation Club thanked faculty and staff who served; a large group carried the United States flag onto the field for the national anthem; Retired U.S. Navy Commander Jesse Fox made the pre-game coin toss; and service members received one more loud round of applause at halftime.

Academy has more than a dozen teachers and staff who served in the military:
