Erin Winn joins the Norfolk Academy family in 2024-25 as a first grade teacher. Before coming to NA, Mrs. Winn taught at Ocean View Elementary, a Title I school within the Norfolk Public School system. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading suspenseful mysteries, playing tennis and volleyball, snowboarding, boating, and crabbing.
To help our community get to know them, Norfolk Academy Communications asked all our new teachers three questions as they were getting started:
Why did you want to become a teacher?
I wanted to become a teacher because I love children! I wanted to help maximize all students' social and academic performance while having fun.
What excites you about Norfolk Academy?
The school spirit and strong friendships excite me at Norfolk Academy!
What's one fun fact about you students might find interesting?
I love to play tennis and snowboard.
