Lower Schoolers put their speaking skills on display on April 16, at the annual Robert S. Sergeant Independent Schools Forensics League Tournament.

Students competed in poetry, prose, original oratory, speech, and storytelling.

Head coach Kim Shamblee credited all team members for their hard work and dedication over several months of practices.

Robert Sergeant began NA’s forensics program more than 40 years ago. He believed young students would benefit from the chance to engage in public speaking. He was so committed to the cause that he organized the tournament, which took his name after he passed away.
