A familiar face appeared on ABC's Good Morning America in mid-November: Lamar Shambley '06!
Shambley answered holiday-themed questions as part of a game show. The hosts noted the good work he does in the community: He is a founder and executive director for Teens of Color Abroad, which offers students the opportunity to travel and study internationally.
A math and Spanish teacher in New York for several years after graduating from William and Mary, his former students inspired him to launch the nonprofit organization. Teens of Color Abroad started in 2018.
