Game on! Field Day 2024 is on the way!

Formal preparations for Norfolk Academy's longest standing community event kicked off on January 18 with the annual kickoff meeting that highlights the many volunteers who help Field Day come together. In all, there are more than two dozen teams that take care of various aspects of the event on Field Day and in the days and weeks before.

Field Day this year will be on Saturday, May 4. The Pickleball Tournament will be on Sunday, April 21. The Opening Reception and Art Show will be on Saturday, April 27. The Golf Tournament will be on Monday, April 29.

This year's Field Day Co-Chairs are Michelle Bass Adams '91 and Jennie Ware.

Norfolk Academy Field Day, established in 1891, is the longest standing community event at the school. Students, faculty, parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, and members of the community gather on campus for a day of family fun on the first Saturday in May. All proceeds from Field Day benefit need-based financial aid and student programs that directly enhance the educational experience for all students.

Each year, hundreds of volunteers give time to help make the event a success. Opportunities range from an hour of time on May 4 to days and weeks before the big event. Volunteers can sign up now.

The chairs of the more than two dozen committees is on the Field Day pages of NA's website, as are more details about the event.

Can't wait to see everyone there!
