Seniors studying Engineering recently completed an in-depth environmental project, doing essentially the same work as a firm restoring the wetlands at Pleasure House Point near the Brock Center in Virginia Beach.

A principal engineer for Wetland Studies and Solutions Inc., which is doing much of the design on the actual project, discussed that job and asked students to do what the firm did: background research, design, defend decisions made, and pitch the design to the client.

After they completed their designs, students made their pitches to a group that included fellow students and teachers.
