Several Bulldogs who graduated recently are continuing their academic and athletic excellence at the collegiate level.
Peyton Tysinger '19, who plays for Washington and Lee University, has been named a Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III Scholar of Distinction.
Division III Scholars of Distinction are those who achieved a grade-point average of 3.9 or better through the first semester of the 2019-20 academic year. Only 321 student-athletes from across the nation received that honor.
In addition, Holley Cromwell '19, Sydney LeGuillow '19, Grace Cornbrooks '19, Lily Clarkson '18, Liz Heckard '18, and Greer Gill '18 have all been named to the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
Only about 1,000 student-athletes from across the nation earned that recognition. The Squad honors those who achieved a GPA of 3.3 or better through the first semester of 2019-2020.
Holley plays for Dartmouth University; Sydney for Hofstra University; Grace for William and Mary; Lily for the University of Pennsylvania; Liz for Stanford University; and Greer for the University of Virginia.
Callie Poole '19, who plays for the University of Mary Washington, is one of about 2,000 student-athletes who made the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. That also recognizes those with GPAs of 3.3 or better.
Congratulations to all!
