The final Alumni Board luncheon of this school year was held on Thursday, May 8, with members hearing about community engagement projects across all divisions and thanking new and outgoing board members for their service.
Merrick Michaels McCabe '98 completed her term as President. Bobby Beasley '06 is moving into that role; Derwin Gray '07 will serve as President-Elect/Recording Secretary.
Also recognized were:
- Sara Dailey '94, Hal Yuill '97, and Leah Swatts '92 for serving nine years on the Board.
- Kimberly Deal '01 for serving six years on the Board.
- Katie Fletcher '92 for serving three years on the Board.
New board members who will serve in 2025-26 are: Eric Peterson '79; Jenny Vinson Huelsberg '93; Dr. Cara Watts Caro '03; Lauren Downing Miller '05; and Jessica Strelitz '15.
Jack Gibson '08 and Blair Monaco presented about community engagement to start the meeting.
