2024-25 Lower School Awards

Lower School Closing Exercises closed Norfolk Academy's 2024-25 school year on June 5, celebrating sixth graders moving up to Middle School and highlighting a host of successes across grades 1 through 6 during this Year of Understanding. 

In addition, a variety of awards were handed out:

James William Perkins Stewardship of the Earth Award, to the Lower School student who exemplifies an awareness of environmental issues and was most influential in motivating others to work at conserving natural resources and collecting recycling materials for Norfolk Academy Lower School. Wyatt Jenkins-Stamper

Michel Pessar Athletic Award, to the fifth grade student who demonstrates outstanding achievement and excellent sportsmanship while participating in Physical Education. Mary Wright Anderson

The Distinguished Mathematician Award, to one student in each class who is recognized as the distinguished mathematician for demonstrating a creative approach to problem-solving, tenacity, teamwork, and attention to detail.
