Three Seniors Recognized for Academic Achievement

Three Norfolk Academy seniors were recognized for their academic achievements on Saturday by the Hampton Roads Committee of 200+ Men Inc.
The 200+ Scholars Breakfast, the signature event of the Hampton Roads Committee of 200+ Men, honors African-American high school males who are graduating with a 3.0 or better GPA.
The three Norfolk Academy students who were honored are as follows:
  • Kenneth Alexander, who will attend Virginia Tech
  • Lorenzo Thompson, who will attend Virginia Commonwealth University and major in mechanical engineering
  • Brian Washington, who will attend Florida A & M
Thompson was unable to attend the event, as he was participating in the VISAA Track and Field Championships.
Congratulations, Kenneth, Lorenzo, and Brian, and we wish you good luck in all of your endeavors in college!
