How long have you been at Norfolk Academy?
This is my 19th year at Norfolk Academy.

Tell us why you wanted to become an educator:
Ultimately, the impact made on me by my 9th grade English teacher, Oliver Paige, and a Little League coaching experience proved impossible to ignore.

What most excites you about working at Norfolk Academy?
The positive energy and optimism on this campus!

Norfolk Academy is unique because…
...of the faculty’s unanimity of purpose.

What do you like to do in your own time/when you’re not working?
With a recent family move, I have found myself frequently on the business end of a paintbrush or roller...I am looking forward to putting those down and picking back up Louise Penny’s Inspector Gamache series.
Last book read:
The Other Woman by Daniel Silva
Favorite food?
I can't resist guacamole.
A movie is being made about your life. Whom would they cast to play you?
Mike Farrell (of M*A*S*H fame)
Fun fact your students might not know about you/might find surprising:
I once participated (and loved it!) in the Norfolk Academy Winter Musical.

“When I grow up, I want to be…”
...able to dunk!
