Superheroes and Social Skills

Fun and games were not restricted to the outdoors during the Field Day festivities. All four of the third grade classes took to the stage in Price Auditorium for a performance of The Name of the Game: What Happens When A Superhero Isn’t Playing Fair. Directed by Becky Peterson, Lower School music director, the show focuses around superheroes who are struggling with their social skills, specifically being good listeners, reading body language, and dealing with conflict. Laughter came from both parents and children, as the students embodied the silly antics of their characters.
