How long have you been at Norfolk Academy?
This is my first year at Norfolk Academy.

Tell us why you wanted to become an educator:
I enjoy helping people achieve their goals. Whether academic, athletic, or personal, I love being part of the journey. Teaching allows me to help prepare students to achieve any goal they set for themselves.

What most excites you about working at Norfolk Academy?
I am most excited about being a part of such an extraordinary faculty and working with such well-rounded students. I’m also excited to be able to watch former students as they progress through the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools.

Norfolk Academy is unique because…
...of the strong relationships formed between all members of the community.

Last book read:
Beartown by Fredrik Backman

What do you like to do in your own time/when you’re not working?
In my spare time I like to cook, read, take my dog for walks, and play cribbage with my husband.
Favorite food?

A movie is being made about your life. Who would they cast to play you?
Sandra Bullock

Fun fact your students might not know about you/might find surprising:
Athletics have allowed me to travel to many exciting places, such as Lebanon and Niger.
