Seniors in college t-shirts

Norfolk Academy's last five graduating classes attend 136 different colleges in 35 different states and England. We are pleased that our students cast a wide search net and consider a diverse group of colleges and universities over the course of their admission journey.

We do not judge our success by the number of students admitted to "most selective" institutions, but rather,  the percentage of students who persist at their original college of choice through to senior year. Our retention rate is well over 90%. Additionally, Norfolk Academy students submit (on average) five applications for admission, a data point which demonstrates both the focused nature of our seniors and the curated counsel we provide as a team. It is our privilege and joy to help each student build an understanding of self which leads to selecting a college at which he or she will thrive.
