Most Meaningful Activity
Peer Counseling. Dr. Hudgins is so welcoming and kind and he creates such an amazing learning atmosphere. I'm passionate about helping others be the best version of themselves and Peer Counseling has taught me how to do that.
Reflections on Learning
My best classroom experience was with Dr. Affronti during Advanced Biology. Doc is my advisor, so we have a close relationship and talk a lot before and after class. He has taught me about the different animals in his room and let me name the lizards.
Mr. Warsaw changed the way I looked at French and was able to make me excited about something that was originally a chore. Some of my best memories come from his classroom. Anyone who has him as a teacher is lucky.
A Few Words of Advice to my Fellow Bulldogs
Be open to making friends with people you don't know that well. This includes peers and teachers. I've made so many friends with people I didn't think I would. It all starts with opening up to one another. You'd be surprised with how much you have in common with people you never thought you'd be friends with.
A Quick Word About Zoe
“Zoe is a wonderful young woman! She is friendly to everyone and always comes across in a positive and caring manner. She is highly self-motivated, intelligent, outgoing and organized, and she is a very diligent worker. Zoe consistently supports anyone in our community, regardless of social standing, race, economic background, religion, or any other qualifier. I have watched Zoe over the years working not only with her grade-level peers, but with our younger students, and I have always been so taken by her friendliness with them and caring support of them.” ~ Dr. Graham Hudgins, Zoe’s Psychology Teacher and Peer Counseling Advisor
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…my positive mindset.
