What I’ll Miss Most About NA: The People
Most Meaningful Activity
Cross country has been my favorite extracurricular activity, because of how great the team is and how good the memories are that I’ve created as a member of this team. I always had a good time with my teammates.
Reflections on Learning
My favorite classroom experience was Mr. McMahon’s ninth grade history class. It was informative and interesting.
The teacher who has had the biggest impact on me is Mr. Gibson. He is my 12th grade history teacher and has been my Fellows teacher throughout my time in the program. He’s a great motivational teacher who I look up to.
A Word of Advice to her Fellow Bulldogs
Be strong! You’re stronger than you think.
A Quick Word About Sophie
“As a senior, Sophie has found a true sense of purpose, which is propelling her to produce some of the best work that I have seen. Intellectually, Sophie is as sharp as they come. She has a fast processor; she can empathetically problem solve; and she is a natural, divergent thinker. She is constantly looking for ways to get better, and she has the grit and determination to ensure that she continually improves. Sophie’s mission in life is to help others by building community. During the time I have known her, I have seen Sophie go to great lengths to strengthen every community to which she belongs. Sophie’s combination of a growth mindset, grit, and her passion for strengthening community, makes her a true asset to any group that is lucky enough to call her one of their own.” ~ Mr. Jack Gibson, Sophie’s History Teacher
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is… my friends.
