What Are You Most Looking Forward to in College? The opportunity to make something of myself
Three Words to Describe the Class of 2021: Courageous, Strong, Inspiring
Most Meaningful Activity
I love both cross country and indoor track because I get to be with different teammates, experience different workouts, and be coached by several different teachers…. I have been running with the same group of girls at Norfolk Academy for four years and have been competing with them for six or seven. We are all close and I have met some of my best friends on that track.
Mr. McMahon is like a second father to me. I think that he has had the biggest impact on who I am trying to become in myself. He pushes me to be better not just in the classroom but also on the track.
The Academy Difference
Norfolk Academy has given me amazing friends and experiences. I will remain friends with my classmates and teammates for the rest of my life.
Making My Mark
I think that I have left an impact on the running team: cross country and indoor track. I think that I was a good role model and leader for a lot of the rising high schoolers being introduced to the sport.
A Quick Word About Peyton
“A fantastic young lady who lights up any room with her smile, Peyton places the needs of others ahead of her own, has a huge heart, and is a natural leader. She is academically driven, views the world with empathy, and has the courage and confidence as a leader to make tough and challenging decisions…. She will make any campus a better place, as she has Norfolk Academy, because of her compassion and heart. ~ Mr. Bernie McMahon, Peyton’s Political Science Teacher and Coach
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…my grit to overcome any obstacle.
