“Each day at Norfolk Academy I am challenged academically and athletically. My peers, teammates, and teacher-coaches have pushed me to become a better version of myself and I am thankful for that.”

Three Words to Describe the Class of 2021: Intelligent, Humorous, Compassionate
Most Meaningful Activity
Each athletics season has brought me closer to so many people in this community. All of my teams were like a family and made me feel extremely welcomed. My teammates challenged me in the best ways possible and have impacted my growth as a player and person immensely.
Reflections on Learning
Mr. Garvin’s Studio II class was the first time I could work independently and truly focus on the work I wanted to create. The class provided me with the opportunity and freedom to express myself through art.
As my advisor, basketball coach, and physics teacher, Coach Duffy taught me the importance of mental toughness and getting grounders on and off the field. I've never met someone so passionate and dedicated to his work, students, and community as Coach Duffy, and I cannot thank him enough for shaping me into the person I have become.
Making My Mark
I always looked up to the older athletes, especially the seniors and captains. When I became a captain and senior leader, I realized what makes a great leader is heart and dedication rather than personality. As a leader on my sports teams, I believe that I helped the team dynamic grow from being teammates to being a family.
A Quick Word About Molly
“Molly is an absolute gem. She is kind and genuine and full of her own inner spunk that has led her to emerge as a caring, compassionate, and hard-working young woman as well as a predominant leader within our senior class. Molly is truly an outstanding student-athlete who sets the bar high for both herself and for those around her. Molly is a giver. Molly is a doer. She has taken some risks and stepped out of her comfort zone, which has only helped her to bloom into the leader and role model that she is this year.” ~ Ms. Catherine McCallum, Molly’s Precalculus Teacher and Field Hockey Coach
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…my team spirit.
