“I’d like to think that, even if just for a brief moment, my wit in the classroom has made someone have a better day.”

Three Words to Describe the Class of 2021: Resilient, Bold, Confident

Favorite Refectory Meal: Chicken Tenders and Honey Mustard

Most Meaningful Activity
I did diving for one season during the winter of 2019-2020. I had the best time, regardless of how well I did.

Reflections on Learning
Kahoot will always be my favorite activity in class. It helps to reinforce topics and themes in a unit and gives students an incentive to do well.

Inspirational Teacher-Coach
Señora Glascock helped me greatly when I showed an interest in Spanish. When I had questions, she had answers, which ultimately propelled me to the level I am at now. I love her passion and motivation to teach Spanish.

Words of Wisdom for My Fellow Bulldogs
Do not be afraid to speak up in class or lead discussions. Life is too short to hold back in the classroom when you feel passionate about something or feel as if your idea would contribute to a larger conversation.

A Quick Word About Liam
“In a year that has presented many challenges, Liam’s refreshing perspective has been such an important addition to our advisee group. He is funny, smart, and kind. He engages every single member of the group; It is like he is the glue that we have been missing for the past couple of years. He is soft spoken but commands attention and respect in a room. As he waited in line to get a nasal swab COVID-19 test at the end of a long Friday, I expected him to get annoyed or frustrated by the fact that he was literally last in line and most of his peers had already been dismissed for the day. I apologized and Liam smiled and brushed it off. ‘It’s okay,’ he said, ‘I know the school is doing the best it can.’ Not only is he a superb Spanish student, but he is a fine young man. He seems to understand the world better than most at his age, and that maturity has been so valuable inside and outside of the classroom over the past two years.” ~ Ms. Taylor Winn, Liam’s Advisor and Spanish Teacher

The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is… honor.
