Most Meaningful Activity
Without a doubt, the extracurricular activities that I enjoyed most during Upper School would be Cross Country and Track. I have met so many amazing people during practices and meets. The coaching, especially from Ken Lampert, has taught me to push my grit and focus to their limits.

Beyond the Classroom
Volunteering at Special Olympics practices made me realize how much I enjoy helping others. When I see the smiles and hear the laughs of the players during a soccer match or a basketball game, it inspires me to make a difference in both my local community and in the world.

Inspirational Teacher-Coach
Coach Lampert and his legacy will be something I never forget. His motivational stories and hardworking attitude made me realize how much I love running. Even when I struggled to complete a workout, he would motivate me to overcome the pain and adversity, causing me to be a better runner and a better person.

A Word of Advice to My Fellow Bulldogs
At the beginning of the new school year, start a conversation with every person in your classes, including the teachers. Even if it’s just asking how their day was, every conversation will have a lasting impact on the lives of the people in our community.

A Quick Word About Jonathan
“Jonathan speaks with both self-confidence and humility — he does not mince words and he projects his voice with the skill of a seasoned orator, yet his words suggest a genuine desire for understanding and an openness to others’ ideas and viewpoints, which might make him rethink his own. For these reasons, I believe that Jonathan’s future professors will find that he enriches the classroom experience for instructor and other students alike. He moves the conversation forward in meaningful ways, displaying intellectual curiosity and great consideration for others.” ~ Mr. Ari Zito, Jonathan’s Junior and Senior English Teacher

The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…my determination and grit.
