Three Words to Describe the Class of 2021: Unwavering, Determined, Adaptable
Favorite Refectory Meal: Grilled Cheese
Most Meaningful Activity
I have loved being on the Sailing Team. I have done it every fall since seventh grade, and made countless memories and friends during practice and regatta trips.
A Favorite Memory
I enjoyed Paws for a Cause days in Middle School, as it led to my passion for helping others. I pursued this passion as President of the Reach/Interact Club, giving volunteer opportunities to as many people as I could.
Reflections on Learning
I absolutely love my Physics C class for the sense of community within it. The entire class strives to be better collectively, cultivating an atmosphere of determination.
Mrs. Mann has led me to think in new ways during math class, supported my club endeavors when she organized the clubs, and listened to my worries during advisee. I greatly appreciate being able to stop by her office to share good news or to get math help.
Making Her Mark
I created and led the Batten Leadership Program's Instagram page (@nabattenleadershipprogram), which I hope continues to enlighten the student body about current issues. The Fellows program delves into issues in such a way that I think everyone should have access to this wealth of knowledge.
