William & Mary
“Norfolk Academy has allowed me to form relationships that I will cherish for years. At NA I have had the opportunity to get close to many of my teachers and classmates.

Three Words to Describe the Class of 2021: Determined, Energetic, Passionate
Favorite Refectory Meal: Flatbread Pizza
Most Meaningful Activity
Participating on the sound team with Mr. Fleenor. I made many of my closest friends through theater and learned a lot from Mr. Fleenor along the way.
Reflections on Learning
My best classroom experience was Advanced Chemistry class during junior year. As my first elective science course, it was a lot to get used to, but my classmates and I bonded and became much closer over the course of the year.
Since sophomore year I have loved getting to know Mrs. Mann. For three years now I have been going to her office to talk just about every free bell.
Making Her Mark
I, along with my fellow club members, kept the Fine Arts Association from being disbanded. The club means a lot to me and hopefully my time as President will help ensure that the club remains chartered for years to come.
A Quick Word About Hannah
“A thinker whose values encourage classmates to consider a more inclusive mindset, a jewelry maker (who manages her own Etsy shop), an LGBTQ+ advocate, an artist who believes that behind-the-scenes efforts on behalf of sound and costumes are just as important as those made by actors on the stage, and a scientifically minded young woman who has aspirations of influencing health care for the better, Hannah Marks is impressive.” ~ Mrs. Jennifer Scott, Hannah’s College Counselor
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is… my close relationships with my teachers.
