“The people at Norfolk Academy have left an impact on me. They are the best, and they look at you as a person rather than just as a student. I will miss the conversations with teachers, coaches, and administrators the most out of everything.”

Favorite Refectory Meal: Grilled Cheese
Most Meaningful Activity
Being a member of our diving team is one of my favorite extracurricular activities. From waking up early for a trip to St. Catherine’s to Saturday morning practices with an occasional appearance from Balthazar, these were some of my favorite memories.
Beyond the Classroom
Hanging out with Coach Bailey in the training room during H Bells has been one of my favorite non-classroom experiences. For seniors, it’s a fun way to relax at the end of the day. These H Bells have made an impact on me because I’ve gotten to know one of the most important people in our athletics department.
Reflections on Learning
Dr. Jenkins’ class in 10th grade was one of my most memorable classes. Some of the best conversations took place in her classroom. Doing presentations in her class was one of the most fun and interesting things I have done during my time in the Upper School.
Dr. Rezelman has impacted me in the history department in two different ways. I took his United States History class as well as his The U.S. and the Middle East, 1979-Present course. He has a certain way of telling stories that always keeps me interested.
A Quick Word About Graham
“Graham is extremely community-oriented. Whether it’s his family, his neighborhood, his friends, or his teammates, he loves being part of larger communities, and doing all that he can to selflessly support them. He is wonderfully humble and grounded. There is never any pretense to Graham. He is who he is, in the most refreshing of ways. And he is always appreciative and empathetic. I’ve been around a lot of students throughout my years in education. Graham is up there in terms of his sincerity, his compassion for others, and his overall emotional intelligence. He’s a special person, and is going to immediately enhance his college community.” ~ Mr. Brad Harlan, Graham’s College Counselor
