Most Meaningful Activity
Girls volleyball. This team has brought me some of my best friends and greatest experiences from NA.
Reflections on Learning
My best classroom memory is the flaming pendulum lab in Coach Duffy's class. Coach Duffy always found a way to make class fun and this lab was, too.
Mrs. Goodson has been my advisor the past three years and has made the biggest impact on me during my time at NA. She has always been there to listen and gives great advice. I've loved being able to talk to her about anything.
Words of Advice for My Fellow Bulldogs
Cherish every day you have at NA, especially through athletics and other activities that allow you to make friends with people from other grades. At a small school there are many ways for you to connect with other grades and these friendships have been some of my best.
A Quick Word About Devin
“I grew to know Devin through her writing, particularly her prose, which showed an eye for details about the idiosyncrasies that shape memorable characters. Like many astutely observant people, Devin has a sly sense of humor that surfaces in her writing. In the final exam for the course, she created a dramatic sketch that involved two male characters from Fences by August Wilson and The Color Purple by Alice Walker. The two characters had a meeting with Mr. Death, who delivered a sharply worded dressing-down to the two sinners, whose excuses were humorously inept. I appreciated Devin’s ability to deliver such a well-written and genuinely witty piece of writing.” ~ Ms. Esther Diskin, Devin’s English Teacher
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is… my passion for relationships.
