“The community Norfolk Academy has created in school and out of school is one that I will never forget. The teachers and students want the best for one another.”

What I’ll Miss Most about NA: The Fine Arts Department
Most Meaningful Activity
Participating in the Fall Play and Winter Musical have always been the highlights of my year. All the teachers are so supportive and the cast is your school family.
Reflections on Learning
I enjoy how accessible teachers are at Norfolk Academy. It’s a great experience being able to chat with them about academics or personal events.
Coach McCallum has been an incredible advisor and math teacher. Even though math is one of my weakest subjects, she took time out of her day to help me whenever I needed. She has been one of my biggest supporters, encouraging me to be the best version of myself.
COVID Silver Lining
I got to spend more time doing things that I normally would not have time for. My cousin and I spent a lot of time cooking together, which was something we had never done before COVID.
A Quick Word About Caroline
“Caroline is kind-hearted and non-judgmental, which allows her to flow seamlessly within multiple groups. She is a young lady who respects and appreciates who others are, mostly because I feel like she knows herself well, and is comfortable with her own strengths and weaknesses. Caroline is a true and reliable friend to classmates. She has a presence about her, and it’s not just her phenomenal stage presence. She has gifted our school with her charm and her caring nature. I know she will do the same for her college community over the next four years.” ~ Ms. Catherine McCallum, Caroline’s Math Teacher
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is… my courage!
