“I think that I have left an impact on Norfolk Academy by coming to school with positive energy. I hope that after I leave people will come to NA every day ready to better themselves and those around them.”

Three Words to Describe the Class of 2021: Determined, Relentless, Caring

What are you most looking forward to in college? Creating new friendships

Reflections on Learning
My best classroom experience has been with Dr. Affronti in his Ecosystems class, because of my classmates and the energy that Doc brings every day. Additionally, we got to play with animals, and that's pretty cool.
Inspirational Teacher-Coach
The teacher who has had the biggest impact on me is Mr. McMahon. His knowledge of history and current events has always inspired me to know more about the world around me.

The Academy Difference
Norfolk Academy has taught me the importance of family and community. I know that I will always be able to come back to Norfolk Academy and be welcomed with open arms.

Words of Wisdom for My Fellow Bulldogs
I would advise the underclassmen to not get so caught up in every little assignment or test that they miss out on the opportunities to forge relationships with teachers and their peers. Once you graduate you won't remember what grade you got in 11th grade U.S. History, but you will remember Coach Acra.

A Quick Word About AJ
“AJ's academic accomplishments are rivaled only by his personal strengths. His enthusiasm, positive attitude, and kindness to his peers are without peer. I do not know a social situation in which AJ would feel uncomfortable or would not quickly make friends. He works well in groups, goes above and beyond to include those who may feel excluded, and is generally a pleasure to teach. He accepts all feedback and works hard to improve himself in all situations. During my American Gothic course, I watched him shine as an enthusiastic student who excels in both his academic and social pursuits.” ~ Dr. Amber Jenkins, AJ’s English Teacher

The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is… my uplifting attitude.
