Most Meaningful Activity
Long-term French Exchange.
During the first few days in Paris, I felt like I could barely understand, let alone speak, the rapid French that was suddenly all around me. As the weeks went on, though, I found myself more and more at ease with both the city and the language. By the end of the exchange, I felt truly proud of myself for stepping outside of my comfort zone and exploring a new culture.
Reflections on Learning
I wouldn’t consider myself a “math person” in any way, but Mr. Duquette’s teaching style and humor made Calculus honestly one of the most engaging and fun classes I’ve taken.
Looking Back
We were so excited to finally be in sixth grade, and I imagined our last show with Young People’s Theater Project (YPTP), The Wizard of Oz, as important and wonderful as a Broadway production. I’m so thankful for the lifelong connections YPTP allowed me; Dorothy, the Good Witch, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man are still some of my best friends.
Making My Mark
I’m incredibly proud to have helped shape the Literacy Fellows program at this school. I feel so thankful to have listened to and recorded the stories of people within and outside the NA community.
The thing that most makes me a Bulldog is…my curiosity and love of learning.
