Employment

Thank you for your interest in a teaching position at Norfolk Academy. Selection of faculty is based on a candidate's commitment to advancing the moral and intellectual formation of students, academic credentials, teaching and coaching experience, as well as additional extracurricular interests. Because the school's philosophy asserts that the education of a child extends beyond the classroom--that the teacher-coach role model is the person best positioned to advance the philosophy and mission of Norfolk Academy--each faculty member serves as an advisor to students and most are assigned additional extracurricular duties that range from advising student organizations to coaching athletic teams.
