Madison Acra '14 Selected for Virginia State Girls' Lacrosse Team

On Sunday, April 29, Madison Acra '14 earned a spot on the Virginia State Girls’ Lacrosse Team. The team will compete against other teams from around the nation during the National High School Tournament, a premier college recruiting event, over Memorial Day Weekend at Stony Brook University on Long Island.  Madison was one of eighteen field players selected from a pool of nearly 80 players from Tidewater north to Richmond.

Madison leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 41 goals and 17 assists to date, and she is currently one of the top three points leaders in the TCIS. According to Coach Rackovan, “Not only is Madison a key player on our attack, but she is someone to watch in the TCIS. She is also one of the hardest workers on the team. This recognition is very well deserved.”
